Hamilton to victory in Russia - F1 RACING WORLD

Lewis Hamilton won the Grand Prix of Russia and his victory has extended Mercedes invincible series at the track in Sochi! To another place came Valtteri Bottas who endured the lash of third-placed Charles Leclerc at the end of the race.

The turning part of the race took place in the 27th round. Sebastian Vettel, who is at the beginning of the race came to the first place, out of the pit behind Leclerc. Circle after Vettel canceled MGU-K on the engine and give up the race, thereby causing a virtual Safety Car. Hamilton and Bottas are starters on the medium tires and were not in boxing and they get a 'free' stop, pushing them both in front of Monaco driver.

The fourth ended Max Verstappen, and in fifth place completed the Alexander Albon who is in the final stages chested its position. Constant throughout the race was the sixth ranked Sainz. The seventh was Sergio Perez.

On the eighth place is finished Lando Norris, and behind it lies Lance Stroll. Within invaders points finished yet Nico Hülkenberg

Max Verstappen is well aware that there are a number of young drivers who are going to be competing with him in the future. There are a large number of young drivers in Formula 1 this season and they are all here to stay. The most obvious battle for the years to come is that between Charles Leclerc and Verstappen but the Dutch driver knows that there will be others if they get seats in the top teams.  "He (Charles) is a great driver, but he is not the only one I expect to fight with,"  he said to  Autosport.    “There are young talents such as Lando Norris, as well as George Russell and also Alex Albon. A lot of young talents arrive who can do an excellent job if they have the right car." The future of Formula 1 is bright and with young talent all fighting for the best seats, it's going to be interesting to see who comes out on top.

by Igor Ozimec Jenson Button has questioned Ferrari's decision to tell Sebastian Vettel to let Charles Leclerc retake the lead of the Russian Grand Prix. The former World Champion believes it is now a strange situation at the Scuderia. Vettel overtook Charles Leclerc in the opening stages of the race in Sochi but was expected to let his teammate back in front, as the team gave the Monegasque the preferred strategy. Vettel ignored the order telling his team that Leclerc must catch up if he wanted to pass. The team eventually did the move in the pit stop phase before the German retired with an engine failure. Button has questioned Ferrari's decision to call for Vettel to let his teammate pass him and believes the team are now in a strange position. "I don't understand what they do at Ferrari why keep that deal intact if Vettel was much faster and didn't need any advantage from it?" Button told Speedweek. F1: Vettel penalty boosts Hamilton

The Canadian Grand Prix ended in controversy and a pending Ferrari appeal after Sebastian Vettel crossed the finish line first, but the race was awarded to Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. Vettel was given a five-second penalty by stewards after an incident on lap 48 when he buckled to pressure by Hamilton and ran onto a grass chicane, forcing the Mercedes driver to take evasive action. It was deemed a dangerous re-entry and as stewards handed down the penalty Vettel stayed in front defending the lead. “I had nowhere to go. Seriously, I had nowhere to go,” fumed Vettel over team radio when told of the penalty. “They are stealing the race from us. “No, no, no, no, no, no … Seriously, you need to be an absolute blind man to let him pass and not control your car – where am I supposed to go? This is a wrong world, this is not fair.” Vettel made his point again after the race, switching the No.1 winners sign from Hamilton’s car to his own vacant spot.
