Hamilton: "I do not need anyone's help to do my job in the car" F1 RACING WORLD

Hamilton says he does not need "any help" to do its job in the car and does not expect his team-mate Valtteri Bottas be subordinate to the end of the season in the sense that he will support in the fight with 'reborn' Ferrari.
Ferrari has won on each of the three races after the summer break. Hamilton was his last victory recorded at the Hungarian Grand Prix in July. Ferrari has made significant progress with its car in Singapore, where they introduced a new aero package, and are surprised its rivals by winning pole position and exercising a double victory at the track Marina Bay.

Hamilton is 65 points ahead of Bottas-that he is still the closest companion, and is 96 points ahead of third-placed Charles Leclerc. He insists that it does not want to repeat last year's Grand Prix of Russia where his Bottas had to let the leadership race and thus the victory.
Asked if he needs his team-mate plays second fiddle to fight with Ferrari, Hamilton said: "No. Personally I do not think so. "
"It has never been my philosophy. I want to do the job. I never asked for it. Looking at last year, I hated that experience and I wished that I was not in that position. "
"I do not need anyone's help to do a job that I know I can do (in the car), in addition to their squad in the sense that we work all together better deal over the weekend."
"But now I'm fighting with Valtterijem for the title, so do not expect me smačinjati. That in the last race was a victory, it would be different. "
During the previous race in Singapore Mercedes ordered Bottas to slow down, to make sure they Hamilton after standing in boxing retains its position in front of the Finca. Hamilton pointed out however that this was done to the team reach the best possible outcome in this situation-and not because of favoring one driver.

There are a large number of young drivers in Formula 1 this season and they are all here to stay. The most obvious battle for the years to come is that between Charles Leclerc and Verstappen but the Dutch driver knows that there will be others if they get seats in the top teams.  "He (Charles) is a great driver, but he is not the only one I expect to fight with,"  he said to  Autosport.    “There are young talents such as Lando Norris, as well as George Russell and also Alex Albon. A lot of young talents arrive who can do an excellent job if they have the right car." The future of Formula 1 is bright and with young talent all fighting for the best seats, it's going to be interesting to see who comes out on top.

by Igor Ozimec Jenson Button has questioned Ferrari's decision to tell Sebastian Vettel to let Charles Leclerc retake the lead of the Russian Grand Prix. The former World Champion believes it is now a strange situation at the Scuderia. Vettel overtook Charles Leclerc in the opening stages of the race in Sochi but was expected to let his teammate back in front, as the team gave the Monegasque the preferred strategy. Vettel ignored the order telling his team that Leclerc must catch up if he wanted to pass. The team eventually did the move in the pit stop phase before the German retired with an engine failure. Button has questioned Ferrari's decision to call for Vettel to let his teammate pass him and believes the team are now in a strange position. "I don't understand what they do at Ferrari why keep that deal intact if Vettel was much faster and didn't need any advantage from it?" Button told Speedweek. F1: Vettel penalty boosts Hamilton

The Canadian Grand Prix ended in controversy and a pending Ferrari appeal after Sebastian Vettel crossed the finish line first, but the race was awarded to Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. Vettel was given a five-second penalty by stewards after an incident on lap 48 when he buckled to pressure by Hamilton and ran onto a grass chicane, forcing the Mercedes driver to take evasive action. It was deemed a dangerous re-entry and as stewards handed down the penalty Vettel stayed in front defending the lead. “I had nowhere to go. Seriously, I had nowhere to go,” fumed Vettel over team radio when told of the penalty. “They are stealing the race from us. “No, no, no, no, no, no … Seriously, you need to be an absolute blind man to let him pass and not control your car – where am I supposed to go? This is a wrong world, this is not fair.” Vettel made his point again after the race, switching the No.1 winners sign from Hamilton’s car to his own vacant spot.
